No disrespect to Deck but I don’t think he fits the bill as a LEGEND as a solo artist. If Nas and Mass Appeal are going to go with another Wu member it would make more sense to get GZA but Ghost recently said that GZA is basically retired so thats probably not in the cards. Meth would be a great option as well as he’s already in the lab with Havoc.
AZ also is probably not in the cards, he releases all of his albums through his own Quiet Money imprint and he already announced Doe or Die 3 for 2026 so depending on when he drops it, he’s definitely going to tour and if Nas and Mass Appeal are trying to run it back in 2027 that doesn’t leave enough time for AZ to record and package a whole new album.
I’d love to hear a new MC Lyte project. Black Moon too.
