We might know more this week if the album is coming out on the 12th and they do a similar rollout for every Legend Has It project.

Well Premo is on tour until the end of December so he won’t really be able to promo so that leaves it mostly on Nas and although I genuinely HOPES he goes on a promo run we all know how much he dislikes it so at this point i’m just hoping for some nice videos and hopefully the physicals ship week of release.

If Nas is happy and content with just dropping classic albums with little to no promotion and selling 15k, then more power to him.

Because if he wants, he has enough power to get on every popular show to promote it, from all the podcasts, to talk shows to even SNL performance.

It’s clear at this point he doesn’t care about sales, so we shouldn’t when it barely charts.

I assume we'll get a single in the coming week or following week. And while I don't think NAS will do a promo run I do think he's going to do something. He did an interview with the EYL guys months ago, I assume that will come out. I've said it before but I could see him doing Kevin Hart's show. Basically I think he'll mirror what a lot of big artists are doing in terms of avoiding music journalists for celeb-on-celeb interviews.

IMO besides the Hart thing, the best move would be Kendrick interviewing him. Same manager, you automatically go viral, etc. The views on that are gonna trump just going to The Breakfast Club and having CTG make Nas uncomfortable with weirdo questions lol.

*Nas sits down for interview*

Charlamagne: Why did you like an Instagram post suggesting Hov isn't as rich as people think he is?

or similar to what dj vlad did “why do people compare your casino venture with hov when hov was on another level compared to the business deal you made? you ever wonder why they compare you and jay?”

Kendrick interviewing Nas would be FIRE but Kendrick is still on tour out of the country so unless its something they previously recorded it doesn’t seem probable.

The only reason i care about sales is the likelihood of these artists continuing to put out material as opposed to falling to the side

With an aging fanbase its more difficult to keep them engaged. In time im afraid selling 2700 units will turn into fuccckkk it nobody cares anyway...

When's the last time Ra put out a proper album ?

Ive been rooting for everybody on the legend series to do well in order for mass appeal to at least recoup the money and potentially go on another run next year, become a SUCCESFUL LEGACY RAP LABEL as newer talent didnt really pan out.

Also a bit surprised the 12th of December was only mentioned once by Premier, thought it would get some traction from there, maybe even that was a sort of a slip up from Chris (wouldve expected him to bring this up at every occasion on tour after that, to my knowledge he didnt)

Eagerly anticipating either way and hope its def by the end of the year even if it means the 26th
