Bro I was SHOCKED like 5 years ago I happened to be reading an old Source magazine and Nas sent a shot at Q-Tip! Had me buggin cause I NEVER thought Nas would disrespect Tip in the slightest.
That would be dope, although it seems like every album after Illmatic doesn't get the anniversary treatment. I could be wrongNas should copy Hov and do a 25 Year Stillmatic/It Was Written 30 year show at MSG.
Nas and his team need to start celebrating and focusing on other albums outside of Illmatic.,

It’s crazy cause Nas himself has said he’s tired of celebrating Illmatic. They treat it like this nikka only got one album and then get mad when the haters treat him like that.
I think this still stemmed from Quest love writing that dumb ass blog about how Nas killed HipHop and the Roots mocking IF I RULED THE WORLD.
They took a stance against him first and Nas always reciprocates the smoke. Later they all became cool, and it turned out pretty much all the NeoSoul folk were full of shyt lol.

That plug chick a couple years ago said that Nas gets a STUPID amount of money to do the Illmatic shows. She said he always turns them down and then they counter with an offer he can’t refuse.
