Nas just the type who really lives his life in chapters... His QB associates would always feel the same way. Can't really take it personal when you see the moves he makes. Its just on to the next challenge and opportunity. He generally comes back around to his people in time from what I've seen

Don’t see why not. They were together everyday. He was around Hit’s fam. He was around his son. He came to all his personal events n they were basically inseparable. Maybe not best friends but that’s a stark difference from not speaking AT ALL for years. Feel me? Right now he’s with AZ everyday. When this venture is over. Son prolly gonna disappear again. Look at his relationship with Dave East? I believe it’s natural to grow an attachment to someone who’s always around for years at a time. When they go ghost it’s kinda jarring.

The worst part is, when you don’t necessarily feel the need to be besties and super chummy and shhit, they naturally just assume you don’t like them or they did something wrong. This has pretty much happened to everybody who's ever been down with Nas, including Jungle and his father lol. I think his mom might be the only person he stayed consistent with.

The flipside happens too, you can pretty much countdown to a random picture showing Nas and Hit chopping it up again and talking about misunderstandings and grown man shyt, that too has happened with virtually everyone who fell out with Nas over this exact shyt.

I think Nas top 5 GOAT status has something to do with it, at least when it comes to collabing with other artists. Like he collabs with these guys here and there and goes on album runs with them but at the same time but he is projecting a "I'm Nas, don't ever think I need any of these guys or that they made me" vibe. I almost feel like it's a message to the fans as much as the rappers and producers he's collabed with.

Maybe I'm reading too much into and he's just a flaky guy tho, I dunno

Maybe Nas just likes being to himself for the most part. If they were that close Hit would have his number. I think the amount of times they haven't spoken might be exaggerated. When did KD 3 come out?
