This is a movie, a soundtrack, Nas for the first time in a long time thought of the sound of the album along with the lyrics, thats why he got No ID, Salaam, Internz etc to all work together. The result is a truly cohesive conceptual album, unlike arguably some of his other efforts. Incredible for a first listen, and I have a feeling I have got from alot of classic albums, its fresh but familiar - a mark of a quality album. I have already binned Summer on Smash and Reach Out doesnt work for me, but everything else is exceptional. Can't wait to listen more!
