I can beat them and I was leading by double digits but dude kept lagging me in the 2nd half and even with all that I was still keeping up with him.

@ Nash having an 84 for on ball rating, that shyt would be too high if it were a 48.

It's not just the defense, the game just feels like last year except the dudes now run the correct plays and damn near everyone feels like shyt when it comes to lateral movement until the AI uses them.

They ramped up the defensive cheese, it's not like the game makes good rotations now or anything, they're just more likely to stick with you or block your shot now. You basically can't turn the corner against the computer, and when you do they somehow recover. It doesn't feel like the defense is any better, just that it's kind of cheating on defense now, if they tweaked the defense and there were more blow bys then the game would start to revert to what it was last year.

So everyone complaining about the computer controlled defense on Superstar / HOF is wrong

The computer is hard to get around, bigs are not at a disadvantage on switches. People posted videos in this thread of the computer basically skating back into the play on defense, but that's wrong?

I don't know about playing quick games against the offline CPU but I know online and in MyCareer if you have a big switched on you all you have to do is run at them at an angle and you'll get an animation where they're riding your hip and blow right by them. You don't even have to do any dribble moves or anything. Just run at them and you'll get by them.

Put the game on Superstar or HOF, and play a decent defensive team and see how that works out for ya. I damn near smacked the controller out my friend hand, he had the nerve to pick the fukking Grizzlies and play off the ball as Zach Randolph, CPU Marc Gasol was on me like white on rice.

There's a lot I dislike about this game right now honestly and it's all fixable. But I'm afraid when/if they fix it then in turn it makes online even more cheese filled.

The things they fix will probably help playing against the computer but make the game unbearable against other people. I played about 10 games, I ain't never seen NBA players dribble off their own fukking feet as much as this game

The shooting is non existent right now so every game is a sprint to the hoop. I try to calm my shyt down and run plays that shyt goes out the window after about 10 mins

I'd prefer they leave this as is because Atleast if you have a team with good defenders you stand a chance in hell dealing with all the fukkery.

That's another thing, theses guys don't make contested jumpshots at all. I honestly don't think I've seen a contested jumper go in, if someone is within 3 feet of the shooters it's going to miss. In the NBA dudes make shots at times when they're smothered, from my experience with 2K is that open shots go in too frequently when it should be better balanced that open shots do miss but contested shots go in at times.

They haven't figured out how to balance that, open shots should miss more and contested shots should go in more.

In a sim environment and with sliders there is a chance this could be the best sports games ever. It just sucks the 2k online community is just too lazy and cheap to play the game like it's meant to be played.

I hope the one thing they tweak first is the on ball D by the cpu, if anything it should be low as hell it should hurt you to let the cpu play d the same way it hurts you in Madden.
