This game still rewards absolute bullshyt. Run a play for a good mid range shooter like Paul George to get open in his hot spot? Clank. Turbo up the court with no care like NBA Jam with CP3 and get an and one at the rim all game? Sim Basketball!!!!!
Had to cop the regular version, no MJ version left. How much VC do I need to buy to make myplayer suitable...
Nah, I think I'm done until a patch comes out.
If I can't get past Pau Gasol, Frank Kaminsky and Greg Monroe then this game has a problem.
A LOT of times I ran out the clock throwing up a brick after that I have not been able to get past them with 15 fukking seconds on the clock.
It's a shame because they got a lot of thing right with this game compared to last year, but shyt, this might be a game breaker for me.

30k barely gets you to 70, and each upgrade only gets more expensive as you progress. They dead force you to buy VC otherwise it'll take forever to get your guys stats up, especially if you spend on Myteam and MyGM
I've found that in some occasions I split defenders with ease (I crossed Up Kawhi with Kyrie just off a basic crossover) and other times I get locked down with a starter by some 70 bench player. The game attempts to be realistic by being unpredictable and inconsistent but you have to at least reward players for making the right moves, instead you brick open j's and stepbacks and lose on fastbreaks if there's even 1 defender in front of you.
