I’m thinking of buying one but the reviews are not detailed enough.

To be clear the nba basketball I’m referrring To is made or Horween Leather and about $140-$180

If it's good enough for the highest level of performers on earth, think it would be good for the local Y

I’ve had a few already. The current ones they make suck compared to ones made before 2008. Those felt and played like real leather. The ones now have a coating on it that makes it slick when wet.

Way more than that. This shyt was a mf to break in for me. About six months worth of pickup a couple times a week until it was TRULY broken in. To give some perspective NBA teams use new balls to practice with and then after a season's worth of practice those balls get used in actual games the next season
