you are right, even though they beat the falcons head to head. For the Falcons to get in, they need Minnesota and Seattle to lose out, so there is a three way tie breaker. They would all be 9-7 and in a three way tie breaker, Atlanta's strength of victory would get them to the 5th seed and seattle would have tie breaker over minnesota over head to head for the 6th seed.
