Looks like a broken leg for Stamkos, I'd guess that's a 4-6 month injury. Huge blow to the Lightning and a significant loss for team Canada
Not really a blow to the Canadian olympic team,team is so deep with talent if 4-5 guys go down,theres so many great players to fill in....Itll give Lucic,St Louis or Duchesne a chance to make the team now...
Hes coming home next season....Thw way that team puts blame on him and that fckboy Therien treats him is a disgrace...
Pharoah Karl needs to come back home where his Norris trophy talents will be appreciated and he wont asked to humble himself (fck does that even mean) even tho he is the one of the leagues top defenseman...
Wins a norris in only his 4th season in the league.about to add a gold medal before he comes home

St. Louis and Duchene are near locks to make it regardless of the Stamkos injury. The two people back in the fold for Team Canada now are Claude Giroux and John Tavares
Tavares spot is already reserved on that team...Giroux and half a dozen are on the bubble,Neither of those 2 are locks...alot of "experts" dont have Duchesne on the team...thats how deep the roster is...esp if they take guys like Lucic or Marchand...

TSN, which holds the league's national cable package until the end of this season, has been shut out of the new deal. Its only NHL presence will be 26 Leafs games in Ontario and Winnipeg Jets games shown in the Manitoba region.
