In high demand
like the Habs fans of the early 90s and before, the playoffs were a consistent formality for them, it was expected. Its been a while Habs fans felt like that, they do feel like that now. Since 1993, 22 years, the cup didnt come in Montreal and a entire generation of Habs fans never saw the Habs being contenders. I'm in that group, we are starved, and we are more than due. I dont want us to be like Leafs fans.
I started watching hockey in 1993 when I was 8 years old and being the naive kid I was, I thought the cups would come on a yearly basis. 20+ years later I'm still waiting to see another ship. Other than that one cup, most of my experience as a Habs fan has been straight pathetic
Trading Guy Carbonneau for some minor leaguer all because he gave a photographer the finger

The hiring of Rejean Houle and Mario Tremblay

The Patrick Roy trade

Trading Pierre Turgeon for washed up old Shane Corson

Drafting some bum named Jason Ward one pick before Marian Hossa

Drafting Andrei Kost*tsyn in 2003 over Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry, Zach Parise, Brent Seabrook, Ryan Kesler, Jeff Carter, and Dustin Brown.

The 100th anniversary debacle

Trading Ryan McDonagh for Scott Gomez

The Bruins winning the cup in 2011

Michel Therrien trying to run PK Subban out of town on some bullshyt

I don't even bother cracking jokes about the Leafs cup drought anymore because I feel thier pain.
Thank God things are lookin better now
