Yep 6-10 weeks, sounds like a broken collarbone

thats not going to kill the Hawks though, they will make the playoffs regardless and then Kane should be able to return if they can get into round 2

this injury gives them an extra $5mil in capspace this season (then there is no salary cap in the playoffs)

i think Bowman can get another big piece here to make a run at the cup

just sucks cause Kane might have won the Hart trophy

Devils forwards are the Tennessee Titans of the NHL. Most boring group in the league with zero long term potential. I can't believe Scott Gomez brought life to this crew. At least Larsson has been stepping up since DeBoer got fired and Schneider is a beast.

Atleast if leafs can get top 2 picks would be good for them. But to be honest they shouldve started rebuilding 3 seasons ago. But you gotta look at teams like edmonton and realize its going to be a slow process

edmonton rebuilding sucks because they didn't do what was necessary, ala size at center, defense and good coaching

chicago fired savard and hired quennville (great coach), and then kane and toews size at center, and seabrook and keith, had a vet in net and then crawford

pitt fleury, bylsma , big center malkin, crosby, good d

edmonton small hall, small eberle, small nugent hopkins, erratic winger yakupov, NO d till nurse and klefbum, no quality netminder well they tossed aside dubnyk

Even if they don't get McDavid, they'll get a pretty good players since this draft is supposed to be pretty deep. If I were the Leafs GM, my plan B would be Dylan Strome, he's a center and has 104 points in 57 games. He's also from Mississauga.
