Ah shyt, there is no way ya'll can catch Buffalo at this point

I hope they get him over Edmonton tho (because he'll be in the East, and Edmonton already had their chances with a bunch of high picks)

I forgot there was a lottery for the NHL :leon:

Give us Kessel and complete the tank job ?

McDavid in Toronto would be GREAT for the league if hes as legit as everyone is saying

Champions league
Stats thru first 37 games of draft eligible season
Crosby (04-05) 29 G, 53 A, 82 PTS
McDavid (14-15) 36 G, 62 A, 98 PTS

The odds of winning the rights to pick McDavid are in plain print: the 30th place team in the regular season has a 20 percent chance of having its Ping-Pong ball come up. The fifth place team – currently the Toronto Maple Leafs have an 8.5 percent chance. The 14th worst team – a one percent chance.

i really think edmonton is turning it around dallas eakins was probably the worst coach ever in the nhl

He played in Rockford (our AHL) last season for a minute

We could take on Kessel's salary for the regular season and bring Kane back in the playoffs since there is no salary cap in the playoffs

I just have no idea how it could work long term

Hawks have plently of pieces they can move if they wanted but we need the cheap young talent ,we are gonna lose key pieces this off season

Yall still won gold :manny:

True, but Babcock not even giving Subban playing time against "feared powerhouses" like Latvia and Norway was some straight up bullshyt.

it was straight cism
its just like how they buried iggy in vancouver even though he was second in scoring and set up the golden goal

babcock is :mjpls:

I agree, if not Babcock then it was definitely someone in Hockey Canada that wanted to "put that uppity ****** in his place". That whole left handed-right handed bullshyt was a flimsy excuse for their agenda too. I don't give a fukk what hand Vlasic, Bouwmeester and Hamhuis shoot, they are no where near PKs level. And although Alex Pietrangelo is a great player, I would not put him above PK either, when has he ever taken over a game? Where are his deep playoff runs? PK already has two under his belt. Only Doughty, Keith and Weber were better dmen than Subban on that team.

I would love to see the Habs destroy Babcock and the Red Wings in the playoffs this year. :demonic:

Pacioretty will most likely be wearing the C for us next year, but I have no issue with that, he's earned it with his clutch performances. PK will be wearing an A though.

Hockey is only second to soccer when it comes to cism. The current Flyers coach, Craig Berube, once called Peter Worrell a monkey on the ice during his playing days, now one of his best players is black. :sas2:

Imagine what woulda happened if a black hockey player had worn one of the "I can't Breathe" tees like Kobe or D-Rose or taped that shyt on his helmet in warmups. The NHL would probably suspend him for a game, Don Cherry would bytch about it on Coaches' Corner, and hockey panels would have round table discussions about how he should just stick to the playing hockey. :upsetfavre:

I can't wait until hockey becomes more accessible for JR Smith type nikkas, then these racist hockey purist CACs will really be mad. :takedat:

not one but two emery and simmonds

the way hockey is set up i doubt a jr smith nikka every makes it. I quit but I had the talent to make it the OHL but id prob end up at like 16 years old playing in like brockville. That's how they get you, end up in these small white communities away from home living with a cac family, a jr smith type dude would have been kicked out

thats how they keep their :mjpls: policy

and why most black dudes in hockey all got this same vibe except a few

Yeah, t

I quit hockey at 13 and stuck to baskeball and soccer because I wanted to be around ethnic kids . But if I did have the talent to make the QMJHL, I know I would've hated living with some French Canadian family in some shyt hole town like Val D'Or or Baie Comeau. :scust: Halifax would be cool though.

A non-mixed black player from Quebec's best situation is to be drafted by Blainville-Boisbriand(suburb of Montreal) or if he's from Ontario by one of the Toronto area teams so he could still be around people of his own culture. I can only imagine how much the Subban brothers hated country ass Belleville, that place is wack as fukk. Nothing but rednecks and plain Jane white girls and good luck finding a black barber shop over there. I was rockin 360 waves at 16 and there is no way I woulda let some dude that looked like Julian from the Trailer Park Boys cut my hair :heh:

latest

Poor Ray Emery was stuck in Sault Ste Marie in his junior years :scust:

It always amazes me how white Canada is whenever I leave Montreal. I always thought that stereotypical Canadian accent was a joke created by Americans until I stopped at a rest stop in Belleville one time and just about everyone there was saying "Eh" and "Hoser" and "Aboot" and wearing flannel shirts and trucker hats. :heh:

Blackest place in Canada is Ajax, Ontario at only 16%
Even in Halifax, which has alot of Black History, the percentage of blacks in only 3.6%. :dahell:

Omaha, Nebraska at 13.7% is blacker than Montreal and Toronto. :mindblown:

toronto, montreal and ottawa general area are really the only cities that have a decent amount of black folks

the city of brampton alone has a higher black population than the black population of every province

brampton has like 80k black folks

alberta has 75k, british columbia 33k, nova soctia 20, manitoba 20, saskatchewan 8, newfoundland 1,400 :heh:

and even though there are so many blacks in ontario we are only 4.3% of the pop
quebec 3.2

when yout hink of the us they consider seattle a "white city", seattle is 8% black

toronto is 8% black

like 90% of blacks live in ontario and quebec

ive been to vancouver twice and vancouver general area has like 3 million people but only 20,000 black folks
