I forgot there was a lottery for the NHL :leon:

Give us Kessel and complete the tank job ?

McDavid in Toronto would be GREAT for the league if hes as legit as everyone is saying

Kessel, Hossa, and Kane on the same team :merchant: :dwillhuh: :leon:

other western teams can :camby: :camby: their cup dreams :laff:to the bushes :laff:

Blues first round opponent will get the :birdman::damn::camby: treatment like last year.

There saying Rangers vs. Flyers tonight is the first regular seasont hockey primetime game in 40+ years. Hopefully that's a look at things to come but that's probably wishful thinking.

Pacioretty will most likely be wearing the C for us next year, but I have no issue with that, he's earned it with his clutch performances. PK will be wearing an A though.

Hockey is only second to soccer when it comes to cism. The current Flyers coach, Craig Berube, once called Peter Worrell a monkey on the ice during his playing days, now one of his best players is black. :sas2:

Imagine what woulda happened if a black hockey player had worn one of the "I can't Breathe" tees like Kobe or D-Rose or taped that shyt on his helmet in warmups. The NHL would probably suspend him for a game, Don Cherry would bytch about it on Coaches' Corner, and hockey panels would have round table discussions about how he should just stick to the playing hockey. :upsetfavre:

I can't wait until hockey becomes more accessible for JR Smith type nikkas, then these racist hockey purist CACs will really be mad. :takedat:

clutch performances like the playoffs?

IMO there are really only 2 young players who have been clutch in the playoffs and that's PK and Price...I'd put PK ahead of Price in the clutch convo.

Don't forget Eller. Although he's obviously not as talented/important as them he definitely brings his A game in the playoffs. Last year he was really solid, especially against Tampa/Boston.

I was referring to this season. He's scored alot of big goals for us, carries himself like a captain and he's been great defensively. I know he hasn't been great in the playoffs but I think this is the year he'll show up and have a big postseason.

PK is a great leader too, but unfortunately he's still a target of the referees because of his past reputation as a diver. They'd probably give him the :childplease: if he ever went to discuss a call with them. Plus there's not a chance in hell PK becomes captain while Therrien is coaching the team.

Don't forget Eller. Although he's obviously not as talented/important as them he definitely brings his A game in the playoffs. Last year he was really solid, especially against Tampa/Boston.

I really hope they don't trade him, but Jacob De La Rose's emergence might have convinved Therrien and Bergevin that he's no longer needed.

I wanted Vermette on the Rangers, but not that price Chicago gave up to get him, but Chicago wants to win another cup so a 1st round pick means nothing to them

I think Hockey Canada's leadership (old school guys from Alberta) might not like it, but most of us (white people, or cacs I guess, I don't mind) are pretty happy about the growth of the sport among the black community. Subban is great to watch both on and off the ice, and I'm pretty sure 90%+ of Habs fans would agree.
