Come playoff time its not good to play against a hot goalie. Seedings dont make a difference esp since we seen 8th seed teams make it to the stanley cup finals like oilers who had hot mark roloson and kings with quick.

Not one person expected them to do anything this year. They were looking like a bottom 5 mcdavid contender. But they just finally went with a youth movement and it seems to have rejuvenated them.

And giordano has been the best Defenseman in the NHL the past two years. Would've won the Norris trophy by a wide margin this year if he didn't get hurt.

Oilers have offensively bad coaching. Theres no reason for them to be that bad with all the talent they have. They need to be signing a few vets which would help but man,when you see a guy like dubnyk toil on the coilers then leave and prosper thats all that needs to be said.

look at canucks with torts and now with desjardins

leafs fell off a cliff when they fired caryle
sens fired maclean and suddenly went from like almost dead last to making the playoffs coaching matters

funny thing they had krueger who was doign good but fired
they need to open up the vault and get a good name behind the bench
