The Edmonton Oilers have found their goalie. The Oilers acquired Cam Talbot from the New York Rangers for a second round, third round, and seventh round pick. The Oilers also sent a seventh-rounder to the Rangers in the deal.

He will be a solid starter for them, decent puckhandler for a goalie as well.

I would've rather gotten rid of Henrik and gone with Cam to be honest.
Henrik would've brought over a kings ransom, AND cleared cap .. and the drop off wouldn't have been that much .. if any at all. Cam is starting to come into his own.

I doubt many teams would want Henrik at his cap hit and age despite being one of the top goalies in the NHL, goaltending really doesn't mean as much as it used to, look at Chicago and Tampa Bay, neither Bishop or Crawford are considered elite, having solid forward and d-corp is more important.
