Imo nipsey new music is def not the same as when he did the bullets aint got no name series. His flow and beat selection is not the same. Sounds like to me he switched his style up to fit in or sound more mainstream. Yes i know, he showing growth by not doing all the gangbangin on wax, but damn i miss those funky westcoast produced tracks he had

its not a gimmick..its about him as an artist putting the price on his art that he thinks it is worth...as an artist if you make a masterpiece why should it go for $9? There are paintings that go for millions of dollars...music is more powerful. He's doing what jay,kanye and major artists want to do but they can't because they sold all their rights away to corporations.

Think about it, why should a soulja boy cd and a nas cd be the same price??? redefining the value of OUR art is revolutionary. And he even is telling people they can get it for free on dat piff so how are you going to complain and call it a gimmick.
