Darlene has a lot of plot armor, almost annoying actually

Blew off a capo of the Cartel head, cartel doesnt immediatly just blow her house up, instead they work out a 50/50 deal on a fukking casino theirs just no way a sensible billion dollar cartel would give a fukk about some little amount of heroin


shot the nuts off the KC Mob Boss son, goes into the KC mob boss head quarters with no security and works out another 50/50 drug deal same as the cartel, dude already rich, your son got his lower half blown off with a shot gun and you work out a deal for some more money ? its not like the cartel and kc mob boss need darlene, both could just kill her and take over her poppy farms and keep all the profit or just burn it down a real KC Mob boss woulda blown her wig back soon as she walked out the car

its my only issue with this show honestly shoulda been dead Episode 1 of Season 2 and at worst they shoulda worked out a deal with Jacob who was the more reasonable of the 2 or just killed both

they had 18 wires in his business partner apartment alone, they show the feds removing all the bugs after they died and they wonder why Marty didnt die -- I believe this is at the beginning of Episode 2 Season 1, definitely Episode 2 though not sure on time stamp

Plus the 1st accountant working with Del, was working with the feds, so easy to assume Del new accountants would be washing cartel money since the other accountant went missing (murdered) and then Marty pops up in his place

and his main partner (cant remember his name, Bryce I think) I think they mentioned later on, when Marty got picked up by Petty that he was also working with the feds, the same one with 18 bugs in his apartment

We never find out, the point is how easy it is to set Ben off.

Marty’s lack of expression and empathy makes for great tv

even when he fights with Wendy he’s like

This was a really strong season, show is improving with each season, season 4 might be a classic

Ben was annoying but the actor did great

Darlene still being alive isn’t really believable but that’s the Ozarks

If this goes a couple more seasons, Jonah really might be able to take over, he’s smart like Marty and he’s about that action with the guns and shyt

Ya'll sounds like them cats who need eye-candy on the screen rather than a great drama. great plot and great acting.

To me, acting and plot come first above everything. I dont care for eye-candy. Hell Insecure and Queen sugar were interesting dramas and decent stories and both had eye-candy but Queen Sugar has so many plot holes and horrible and I mean HORRIBLE acting. Insecure has better actors and entertaining enough to be a successful show.

Nope, those cats have a point!

All that money flying around and not one-half dime around not even the mob side of the cartel side, that isn't real life.

It could be the jungle in Cambodia breh, or the Sarah deserts if there are gobs of money there will be dimes.

Darlene looked halfway decent as a young woman, and there turned into a hideous looking woman.

We should have known that was coming though because remember they were water boarding her earlier in the season to understand how much her husband knew. He didn't know sh*t until the daughter was like f*ck all this I'm going back home with my dad - then boom, he would know everything which was Helen's fear. On top of the look Navarro gave her when she recommended he essentially put everything in her name, "just in case" sealed her fate.

So i binged watched this finally. Great show. Is it believable, maybe not. But still good drama.
