A couple episodes in and this show is still very entertaining, but the writing has fallen off a cliff. It’s not so bad that it affects the enjoyment, but it’s moved squarely into “sit back and enjoy” territory

I'm riding with Jonah on this. I cannot fukking stand Wendy. She don't give a damn about her family for real, that's why they keep trying to leave her and she has to betray them to stay. She had no problem letting Marty get killed and possibly her kids, when she was gonna run from Chicago.. Then she was all truth when it was time to tell the kids.. "No more lies, you deserve to know." Then proceeds to lie to them every step of the way. When it was time to get Helen, Jonah rolled up in that bytch like the Terminator. Ready to clap her. He knew about the cartel and what they might do. Knew the kids was right upstairs. Was going to plug her ass anyway. When he found out the truth, he didn't beat around the bush. He straight up looked Wendy in the eye and said you did it bytch. fukk you.. And stood on that shyt the entire 7 episodes. Like fukk you. You killed my favorite Uncle, looked me in the face and asked for some damn sympathy as if they caught you.

Ok maybe you forgive her after a day or two... Nah I come home and you bodying the Sherriff.. .I turn on the TV and you lying about my favorite uncle... Smearing his name when nobody is even asking about him. Making graves and shyt like you didn't do this. Then you cut my goddamn power off. Stopping my paper... I can't even jerk off no more

I finished the first half of the season, man that nikka Wyatt is a fukking idiot falling in love with a psychopath, having time to see the bytch tripping the fukk out and killing people unhinged and still not having the awareness to know that he should’ve broke the fukk out like when she killed a mob boss, I called his death right when he left Ruth and said he would marry Darlene and put his loyalty with her. Dude had multiple times to walk away but he was p*ssy whipped by a bytch old enough to be his Grandma Ruth is in God Of War mode understandably but she should really blame him for being a fukking idiot. Baby Zeke done seen some shyt in his life boy I tell you



Other than that, I gotta say this nikka Javi is a fukking nut, most unhinged character on the show now that Darlene is gone and dude playing that character is killing it, you feel the tension on the screen when that man pull up Marty gotta get him out the paint if they wanna survive but that will unleash the cartel on them, lose lose situation


Jonah is the homie and I rock with him keeping the same energy against Wendy all seasonMarty still the most hilarious dude with his facial expressions from scene to scene, breh stay with the


Agent Miller is another dumbass who is gonna get killed IMO as well, she a real fool to go rogue like that and put everything at risk, cartel bout to wage war on em all

Marty isn’t a psychopath. Wendy definitely is. Half the shyt she does he doesn’t even know about. And from the looks of it. Her family been knew she was a little “off”. Marty just tryna survive and save his kids all other shyt is secondary. nikka stuck in fight or flight mode he can go back to normal once shyt is all over. Wendy don’t really want it to be over. She wants power but from a safe distance to where she can’t be touched. It’s a reason other psychopaths like Navarro gravitate toward her.

The problem with Jonah is the problem with a lot of TV/Movie writing

There's this trope of the rebellious teen who's CARTOONISHLY obnoxious and stupid, making decisions that an untrained monkey wouldn't. Decisions that put not only the dumb ass teen at risk, but the entire family

It's in a LOT of shows that have a teenager. Hell just two seasons ago Charlotte was getting the hate Jonah is now for the exact same dumb ass annoying behavior

It's at best low hanging fruit writing

Drops in the fall of 2022. Reason they split it up is Emmy consideration for 2022 ends on May 31st. After that you would be in consideration for the 2023 Emmy's.

As far as the first half of this season goes....

1) In the end, I think the only Byrde that survives is Jonah. I see Marty and Wendy getting themselves (separately) involved with situations they can't talk their way out of and Charlotte is probably collateral cartel damage
2) I hope she's able to get some revenge but at the thought of Ruth going after the head of a Mexican Drug Cartel by herself and surviving.
3) There has to be something more with this PI. He's annoying as fukk and there has to be some sort of missing person's procedure that he can initiate instead of snooping around the Ozarks looking for a fukking signature.
