So in the comics, Adrian Chase/Vigilante is more similar to Punisher in personality and tone. Meanwhile, in Peacemaker, James Gunn decides to turn him into an even dumber and more annoying version of Deadpool.

The Peacemaker version of Vigilante seems to have a lot fans online though. I don't understand why but

Huh?

*I never said that Adrian should be like "Punisher" just that his personality and tone in the comics is not goofy and comedic like in the show.

*John Cena's Peacemaker being comedic is actually the perfect reason why Adrian's Vigilante should be more serious to counterbalance.

*Adrian's personality is like a 12-year-old boy with ADHD. To me, he comes off as more annoying than funny. If he had a different personality, then I would find him more funny.
