Loved the season, didn't love the finale, don't mind the cliffhanger since they did resolved the big thing of the season which was the Nazi world and we know for sure this is getting another season.

but it was just meh and Gunn is going all Kojima and just using his work to hang out with his favorite bands (instead of actors) the whole Foxxy Shazam thing was silly and served no point.

Gunn fell into the post-Endgame MCU trap. Using TV shows to set up future projects.

Anyway, I just looked up the obscure comic book run that Gunn is setting up. It's called "Salvation Run"... and I don't care. None of the villains that play a major role in that comics series have even been introduced yet. Also, that storyline is just meh.

I really hope that Lanterns isn't disappointing. Thank GOD he didn't write or direct that show, so hopefully, it's good and avoids "Gunn-isms".

Decent finale, they need to drop the shyt with Tasty and her gf though. Straight filler shyt. They couldve cut some of that boat date shyt too.
Bordeaux being pissed at Flagg for sacrificing their team to find a prison and turning around and helping find Peacemaker/helpin 11th St makes sense.
Flagg throwing Peacemaker in the prison was ok. I can see that fueling his search on top of what he said in that meeting. Bordeaux not being there makes sense(im assuming that isnt her with the long black hair that you only see from behind). She wouldve given 11st kids a heads up about that plan.

So Lex whole crew just free and ready for him to lead them again in Man of Tomorrow

Multiverse shyt been goin on yeah but not this new plot of Flagg and them with the newly acquired portal, dimension hopping to find cures for cancer or whatever they said in the preview I forgot. That and Peacemaker in the clink is either supposed to get resolved in one episode or end on a cliffhanger wherein we have to wait months/years for the resolution.

So even if you dont like how it was handled, the episode answered all your questions about the preview. Idk, maybe wait til you actually watch the episode before judging stuff off previews.

not only the concert but a lot of shyt surrounding their date. I really dgaf about the date or their romance to watch the date be dwelled on. Time couldve been better spent on flushing out Flagg's reasoning more. It seemed like he was just part of Lex's crew at the end. Now Harcourt's feelings is some shyt you can say they stretched out too much. That was really resolved episode 7 and she couldve told Peacemaker "yes" this episode w/o us seeing any of that boat shyt.

Gunn definitely leaned into the emotions and the gang getting back together for the finale. I didn't mind the music, but did expect there to be a bigger threat to arise, aside from those weird little creatures and Flagg Sr. being a bigger dikk than anticipated. At least some resolution will come in 27 I guess with the new Superman movie.

I did think the Economist post-credit scene was one of the best they've done this season.
