Very underwhelming season. DCU needs to diversify the writing pool. Gunn is cool but every story is similar. Also he's like part writer part DJ. lol

Good, of course I haven't seen any of those. lolGunn didn't write 'Lanterns', 'Supergirl' or 'Clayface'

Yea, they dropped the ball with the 2nd half of the season. The Nazi twist was a lazy cop-out; wrote themselves into a corner and realized they had no central villain, no big threat, didn’t want to kill anyone, or bring anyone back, or change the status quo aside from forming an agency they could’ve been formed in an ep1 montage…
They literally already had the idea and resources for “checkmate” from jump. The 7 eps to get back to that idea didn’t enhance anything.
Even with the new additions… breh is hilarious and brown chick is hot but both suddenly having moral-dilemmas at the very end (and turning Flagg to full blown villain) felt forced.
Only thing that matters to me with DC is Lanterns but a season executed like this got me a bit more nervous about some of the red flags I’ve had with the GL show news.

Good news on that front, Gunn not writing that, Lindelof is. I got faith in him after Watchmen(Series) and Leftovers.

having his alt universe brother pop up in Season 3 would be good.
Also we need Waller back.
There isn't going to be a season 3. Also, Chris's brother Keith is unlikely to make an appearance again in the future. Gunn probably isn't going to touch anything to do with Earth X again. It's why I feel like the whole season was a waste of time.
As for Waller, apparently, Gunn is making a show about her (but it's not coming out for a while).
heard about the Waller show, but I'm hoping she makes an appearance in MOT.
