Yeah it's a little late I know but I usually hate baseball (wouldn't you if you were a Pirates fan?)

But we're 10 games over .500 right now and first place in the central. We had a similar run last year but fell flat in the second half.

Anyone riding with the Buccos for the second half??

also a little concerned about Cutch beinin the HR derby. i dont want him to mess up that swing

Over .500 would be nice, but Naw.. we gotta get in the playoffs. After this run it'd be a disappointment if we didn't. Far fetched I know, but still..

I'm just glad they are keeping the summer exciting without any other sports teams to root for.

On July 8th......yes. You either like the team and you want to discuss them whether they are good or bad. You can't wait until the all-star break to see if your team is any good and then make a season thread for them.

2) I talk about the Pirates every year, no one ever cares
3) Now that people are actually talking about them, the thread might get some replies
