NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
Everyone keeps talking Tomlin

Omar Khan, the GM, needs to be looked at closely he is not very good

Thats why I am still not completely off the Tomlin bandwagon, and its also the difference between him and Harbs:

  • The Ravens have had a SB roster and have underperformed
  • The Steelers have a .500 roster yet continue to make the playoffs
But I agree that we need an entirely new philosophy on roster construction. How in the world do you go into the season with only DK as your WR threat?

How did they not draft Luther Birden????

For some reason I just felt in my soul that they were gonna take him they have a glaring need at WR2 like you said

:mindblown:

They drafted Kaleb Johnson, the RB from Iowa. He fukked up on special teams early in the season and they never played him again :mindblown:

You cant run the ball you cant put the kid in there not even once :what:
Don't forget how Roman Wilson has been handled. Also they basically wrote Pat Freiermuth out of the offense.

I always thought you were a Bears fan. Or are you a Steelers and Bears fan?

I have not been a bears fan.
for two plus decades breh..

I am never in a bears season thread past maybe dissing caleb for wearing flowers in his hair like fukkin fairy sissy. Past that. I hardly ever ever mention the bears.
Been a steelers my whole life.
I stopped being a bears fan.
after louvie's success meets firing.

Now i will admit.
We are seeing an new ownership group. Act like they understand.
they bought the monster of the midway. Then are hellbent on making the monsters of the midway. More than a car poster and snl skit. The bears for the first time. Since buddy ryan have complete pride.
in being a chicago bear.

I'm waiting to see what the Steelers do in the draft. They need players that are gonna move the chains and get that ball in the end zone.

No draft has more value than the NFL draft. Get some damn peremiter players. They'll probably do some shît like take an O lineman first smh

Mike Tomlin and Bill Cowherd were both 34 when they got hired.. If the Steelers follow this trend, first name that came to mind is Kelvin Shepherd. Another name that I've heard about is Nick Rallis from Arizona. Young coaches who show head coach qualities like respect, leadership and commanding a locker room. One thing about coaches is the good teams look at leadership and communication first, it's not always about if you have a top 5 offense or defense. Look at McVay and Lafleur. They weren't leading these top offenses in Washington and Tennessee.

I can see someone like Chris Shula being on their radar. Fits their history since Nolls hire. Young and a Defensive Coordinator
See thats the problem

Steelers are still refusing to embrace offense

I suggested in the other thread that the Steelers should bring in Ron Wolf or Mike Holmgren to pick their brains about the Quarterback position

Dont bring them in an official capacity but just to pick their brain but they won't do it
