Just from power book 2, she had to give Lauren to the DA to hide her. Effie knocked Lauren out, put her in the car, and we assumed she killed her. How the hell the DA lady get her if it werent for Effie?
From the OG power apparently Effie snitched there too. I never watched the last season or two though.
