Starz does this to cut costs. Instead of continuing this for S4, they make a new show/spin off.
If you believe what Tommy said in some behind the scenes shyt last year then he coming back in a new show, he said this is the end of this chapter. Some think it will be based in Cali, like this one was based in Chicago.

That seems incredibly counterproductive; it almost seems like they don't have the money to continue popular shows for a long time like Showtime does with Shameless/The Chi (extremely underrated), etc.
