Didn't know this was the series finale till I read this thread lol.

The writing on this show is so bad. I get that its a microwave gangster soap opera show where you have to suspend reality. But this is so stupid lmao

Ill probably finish whatever they have left of raising kanan and then im out. Didn't watch the Tariq show and not gonna watch any new spinoffs lol

Just finished this. Terrible writing and totally unrealistic, but had surprisingly good acting in spots. I especially liked Jenard and Big Baby

And all I know is I need a f*cking Mireya in my life Shorty was down for the cause.

@Uncle Baby Billy are you a cac? Hard for me to believe a black american would describe the singing that way and attribute the shyt to Erivo. Most black women(good clip of black dudes in church too) sing like that. If you have a family that sings or been to a black church you most likely saw people singing like that.

Don’t know if he’s a cac or not but he never followed up after being questioned . This lightweight exposure keeps reminding me of that trillanova thread on how R&B, Blues, Gospel is krypyonite to the melanin deficient
