I know you would rather have a playoff spot, but the Cardinal should look at this as a stepping stone for next season. I'm sure Stanford/Ohio State in the Rose Bowl will be the highest rated game outside of the playoff matchups. It will be OU/Bama 2013 Sugar Bowl goodness. I will most definitely watch that game if nothing else (outside of whoever OU plays).

Not gonna happen. Pac 12 never gets the benefit of the doubt like SEC teams do. An sec team could lose to Ole miss at home and it will be chalked up as playing in the sec but if a pac 12 teams loses to a bad pac 12 team it's over.
