With the whole battle rap culture in full throttle Two Rappers -one from the WestCoast but a East Coast transplant , the other from Philadelphia ("The Hustla") in the circuit. They both get washed.
On that note you going to get some rematch battles ....Loaded Lux Vs Mook 3. And some other solid matches Aye Verb and B.Dot (if this does in fact DO go down..i see B dot winning). Tsu-Surf, Conceited, Bigg K
The resurgence of more conscious hip-hop believe it or not. The so-called pill poppin "xanax era" is still going to be in full throttle (unfortunately), but you will have more rappers who are considered "seasoned" penning more thought-provoking lyrics. This is going to come as by "force"systemically by some events both political & non-political.
Unexpected rap collaborations - In terms of me saying this out west you will have more collaboration from Rappers that are on the C-side (Kiwete) and on the B-side (Piru for example). In further trying to unify. Conscious artist collaborating with so called gangsta rap artist
A certain AtL rapper lands himself back in jail........AGAIN.
^this same rapper get himself caught up in a beef with Jeezy and a certain new ATL artist who considered a "headbussa" or should i say ..."savage" over a misunderstanding.
