Same. Online, errrrrbody is a Demon Souls master but that shyt is rough unless you're a 24/7 gamer.

I'll definitely keep playing it but probably in 1 hr spurts, maybe 2hrs at a time.

My wife is on AC Valhalla right now. She seems ok with it...think I'll end up liking it more than her. Graphics look nice.

There’s a certain rhythm to demon souls that you just need to get the hang of. People are just to used to games handholding you through 5 hour tutorials and checkpoints at the same place you die at.

Is it possible to play the digital version of Drive Club on PS5?? I keep looking for it in my library but cant find it. When i search the playstation store on the ps5 I dont see it either

Go to your game collection then sort alphabetically. You can download it from there, I'm downloading it right now

I’m surprised you don’t see it...they show practically every game I’ve owned on the PS4–digital or physical...even games that I bought and sold/traded-in...was shocked to see that...forgot I had owned fallout 4...I’ll probably dl it for free now that it’s on PS+

Just saw this, i instantly thought about this when I was playing yesterday.

Part of it is refreshing, being that, so many games highlight paths, give you health regen, ample supplies, instant retries etc.

So the game is refreshing in that regard but still, I can only take so much of that in one go.

I think there’s a psychological aspect to it. Like I’ve seen people go into it really thinking it’s tougher than it is and play it scared and just try and button mash.

To put it another way, I’ve felt like I’ve quickly lost interest in some recent games because of how easy they are. Recently I played Miles Morales, and something about it really annoyed me about it. Like i would be trying to figure out a puzzle and miles whiny ass voice be like, “i think you gotta connect the webs to the nodes conduct the electricity to the generator!” I’m like bro, this is a simple ass puzzle, respect me.

To me, souls games have the feeling of 8 bit-32 bit era games that were challenging but still fair. Like, mario 3 wasn’t hard to be hard but it still felt like you accomplished something by getting through world 3. Same with something like punch-out that felt good when you knocked out soda popinski.

Games over the last 10 years with auto saves/checkpoints, long ass tutorials, UI prompts everywhere, regenerating health just make games so brain dead easy. If I’m gonna play a single player games where there’s no competitive aspect to it I need to feel challenged to be other ways or I feel like I’d just be better off watching a movie. It’s like playing street fighter arcade mode on very easy, no point. I never played games on hard growing up but now a days i find that i default to hard and if it’s actually hard I’ll put it down to normal but that rarely happens.

Anyways, I still like AAA easy games but I’m happy games like dark souls, nioh, Cuphead, and hollow knight exist to restore the feeling of being a kid and not feeling like a god in a game 2 hours in.

The checkpoint thing is real no doubt lol.

Played Sekiro and that took some getting used to. More accustomed to being able to save right before a big fight...but in Sekiro, you can't really do that. Lose to an enemy and then you have to go back and replay 5 to 10+ minutes of game.

Definitely gotta dig in on DeS.

Demon souls is annoying and energy draining. I had to turn that shyt off and switch to spider man :hubie:

definitely gonna pay that game in spurts.

zactly...ain’t paying $60 to feel like a piece of shyt in my own home

lmao. It’s two folded, yea the constant dying is a drag but once you finally over come even the smallest obstacle it’s rewarding and blood pumping.

but the set back of making it all the way to a boss or destination and dying just to have to trek all the way back and fight some enemies over (yes there are short cuts but still) is just draining and can be too much to repeat multiple times in one sitting

I just got it the other day and finally played it last night. It’s frustrating as hell and the control layout feels clunky to me. I’m definitely going to put in a few hours to justify my purchase but I’m probably going to move on to something else soon.

Feels so good to finally get to play all these ps exclusives :ahh:

I wasn't really expecting it, but god of war may be my favorite so far

I was skeptical since they changed up the gameplay and camera, but this shyt fun as hell

Only thing I hate is my internet is slow as shyt when it comes to downloading my games:unimpressed:

I wanna hop on gt sport so bad:to:

But 97 gb:why:

And the partial download won't let you do but so much

Should be done by tomorrow though. It's a little over halfway
