If you're coming from another system hopefully you have an internal SSD. If you do all you have to really transfer is the save data because you can move the SSD to another PS5 with all the games on it and it will work as is. If you have PlayStation Plus you can upload data to the cloud. If not you need both systems to move the save data last I knew because it won't allow a copy to the SSD.

I had an external 2tb so I was able to move a majority of the games onto the new system. I saved all of my stuff to the cloud . I pulled a @Gizmo_Duck once before so I didn't want that to happen to me again
