The big US stories (Nathan Chen, Schiffrin, Vonn, Etc) didn’t really shine. The biggest US stories were probably men’s curling and women’s hockey.
NBC’s coverage wasn’t that good. I don’t remember seeing any speed skating, for example

Probably the most boring Olympics I can remember but still i'll miss having sports on 24 hours a day watching whatever bullshyt they have on at any given time.
Really only noteable things were Red Gerard/Chole Kim/Shaun White from the first week and that feels so long ago that lost traction fast. Curling/Womans hockey/the cross country held it down the second week.
Only one prior to the games they were selling the games on to come through was Shaun White. I know Shiffirn won a gold but they were pushing that she was gonna have a Phelps like olympic performance.
