@murksiderock this is sad
and would never happened in CLT
Maybe let us handle all the big artist shows my guy….
First of all, the "Raleigh Republicans" are from somewhere else. Currently the NC Senate features 7 Democrats from Wake, 0 Republicans.
Meck has 5 Democrat Senators, 1 Republican. People say "Raleigh" the same way they say "DC" when talking politics---->all these mf's from somewhere else. We the capital so everything happens here but in the actual city of Raleigh, Republicans are a minority.
Second of all I know 4 chicks who were there last night just fine. I know a chick from Fayetteville who didn't make it but she also didn't leabe in enough time, go look at pics of the concert. Carter-Finley was packed out so its just a vocal minority of women with poor time management and planning skills who didn't make it.
There was also an accident somewhere in the vicinity that clogged shyt up.
The city gone get better with managing shyt like this cause we are starting to get more big ticket acts and A-listers, which is a symbol of Raleigh's continued growth and ascension to the national major city stage. It does sound like RPD underestimated how big Chris Brown doing a show at a near NFL-sized stadium would be.
(Carter Finley seats 57,000 which is the second largest football stadium in the state, after BOA, and is just short of the smallest NFL stadium. Soldier Field in Chicago seats 61.5k, and new NFL stadiums are being built smaller, the Bears new stadium and Titans new stadium in Nashville both gonna be 60k, the Bills new stadium gonna be 62k)
So its damn near an NFL sized stadium, bigger than a typical arena act, and RPD or the city underestimated how many people would be coming thru.
But with that said it was a packed house so its these women's fault they aint get there on time, we'll keep our big ticket events, thank you
Damn…. May as well drop this in here too
