Yes I've seen him play this year @Ronnie Lott, he's a tremendous player. But to say an off balanced heave is skill is hilarious. C'mon now. @Futuristic Eskimo. The game of basketball takes a bit of luck like someone mentioned before. I bet if it was someone other than Ennis and played for Pitt, the thread would be full of "Lucky shot" comments. :camby:

So the more difficult a shot it is, the luckier you have to be to hit it? Thats basically all youre saying and by that logic even a layup takes a tiny bit of luck. He made the shot on his own. A sudden gust of wind didnt come out of nowhere to blow the ball in. Dudes trying to cheapen an awesome play with this luck bullshyt.

You don't think most difficult shots don't take some luck to hit? Do you play basketball? There's been plenty of times where difficult shots went in and I thought to myself "Damn, that was lucky af". A layup compared to a off balanced running 3 pointer isn't comparable breh. You think Ennis is making that shot 6/10 times? No. I'm not trying to cheapen his shot at all. I just said it was a little luck because how he was far he was out and his movements shooting it. Even SU fans said it took a hint of luck, I'm not understanding why you don't think that as well breh.

So at what point does a shot become lucky? 25 feet out? When kobes hitting off balance 3s consistently is that luck? I dont give a fukk if other people say luck is involved at all. Do you think the average nba player is making a regular 3 6/10 times? No he isnt. Making a low percentage shot is unlikely but luck has zero to do with it. Yall fortune cookie reading motherfukkers are quick to pull that silly shyt out because you dont understand probabilities.

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
ennis knew it was going in all the way.

I don't know about lucky shot, if you ever been to a nba game or even a college game beforehand and see dudes warm up they can hit shots from all over, it wasn't like a half court heave or anything

Luck seriously has nothing to do with it? I'm done.. :whoa: You have that "He's good so there's no way that shot was luck" state of mind. It is what is.

Outside force? What..?

Yeah, luck doesn't exist..

:shaq2:

Are you slow? The man made a difficult shot cleanly. The only difference between a shot like that and a midrange jumper or a layup is degree of difficulty which changes the probability of a shot going in. If youre going to say luck exists in making shots, then at what difficultly exactly does a shot become nothing to do with skill and more to do with luck? Other people thinking luck exists in making shots isn't proof breh. All it shows is that there are others that don't understand probabilities:manny:
