WWE Raw rating for the December 7, TLC go-home edition

Monday's WWE Raw scored a 2.15 rating, down from the 2.21 rating the show drew last week. Raw averaged 3.054 million viewers, down from the 3.168 million average from last week.

Powell's POV: The Monday Night Football game drew 14.151 million viewers. It was a dog of a game until the last two minutes, which played out after Raw concluded. Still, the Dallas Cowboys in a rivalry game. Raw may lost some viewers to the game, but looking at the way the numbers dropped as the show went on WWE is clearly losing viewers because they are failing to retain them throughout the show. The December 8, 2014 edition of Raw delivered a 2.66 rating with 3.70 million viewers.

They tried to be slick in putting Néw Day near end of 2nd hour, and teaming them with B.A.D. in amazing spot (people here still ignore how much B.A.D. hurts both groups in biting so much of their style in promos but :manny:).

They really messed up in how they gave the main event away IN THE FIRST SEGMENT. Then the awful long K.O. Ziggler match, that you knew wasn't going to advance any storylines (the one it was trying to help was no sold a month ago :patrice:).

It was a great opportunity to allow for a lot of stable cross feuds (a la DX, N.O.D, Hart Foundation, minor stables) for the next show after TLC or TLC fukkery finishes, but opening "main event" didn't want to pull the trigger on grabbing low hanging fruit. Reigns call out should've been the lead into 2nd hour (interview leading up to it was decent, with the education thing and gave Roman some experience in his new self so I'd keep that).

That being said, I don't know what should have led the show now, as New Day doing it is heading to #doin2much status. It all came together like hot :trash: though. Maybe TLC can do something for 15th numbers, but expect big dropoff until Rumble.

Seriously, when was the last time WWE hyped something big for the following week's episode? Was it Batista (the last time they got 5 million viewers)?
Very recently, when they said 4 HOFers, were coming to the show, and Stone Cold talked for like 5 mins and shyt. Think we got SCSA, HBK, Brock, and Taker that night. Only Taker and Brock delivered. Didn't draw shyt tho :sas2:.
