Why ?a bad rating on a show like last night will have wwe bringing Back Y2J and RVD to main event Raw .

:what:

A good or bad rating has nothing to do with yesterday's show because nothing was advertised.

Only way you can judge the quality of the show affecting last night's rating is if the viewership went up each hour, something that hasn't happened in more than a year it feels. It would show people tuned back in to see what was going to happen.

But if the rating is the same or worse it doesn't matter.

Why are you quoting Me? And I know how the ratings work and how stupid people are in here arguing about 100,000 viewers like it matters. But if the ratings are completely horrible last night and none of the "draws" are there they might panic. (Not that i care about the ratings like that anyway )

They've had horrible ratings with legends and "draws" in the last few weeks too. If they are gonna panic (or not) they are gonna do it regardless if a show was good or bad.

I was responding to the I want to see blood guy . Pretty much saying why would you want that . I don't think wwe cares about ratings as much as the dirt sheets pretend since They have a tv deal, stock doing ok , network ok. I was more saying why , what's the reason you want blood for , to see wwe panic ?

Ratings still slightly dropped

people just don't give a shyt about wrasslin anymore :mjcry:
Let me ask you..if Zayn came back next year and got a MONSTER push...like the franchise of Raw..he's the GUY. He's the one that they put in the middle of everything like they did with Bryan around Summerslam 2013 or usually with Cena...do you think if they consistently stayed with him as the TOP guy and kept legit guys like Cesaro, Owens, and Rusev around him as potential matches and new type of interactions, would that do something to the ratings? The belief is that Cena is some kind of a star but the truth he is hasn't mattered to the bottom line since Mickie James had Chicago going crazy at WM 22.

Maybe after few years, Zayn and the rest of the wrasslers you mentioned don't have that star appeal that will draw the causal viewer back, but they will make the hardcore fans, who will watch anyway, very happy. Build these guys for a few years and they'll be household names, but the WWE isn't interested in longterm booking right now

Long term booking. All this gay trading wins thing...Owens kind of avoids it...been winning alot since getting the IC title but does that mean he's being groomed as a main event heel? Well Reigns just beat him..so that may just be wishful thinking too. Reigns beat Sheamus clean a few weeks ago too...just beat Wyatt. So u know he has nothing to worry about..he beats everyone but Ambrose, Lesnar, and Cena. shyt, we were all clowning Cena beating Seth like 4 Str8 but Reigns was beating Seth clean leading to WM 31 and even a couple of months back.

WWE Raw viewership for the night after Hell in a Cell

Monday's WWE Raw television show averaged 3.354 million viewers, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. Viewership was down just a tick from the 3.356 million average from last week.

Powell's POV: The first hour of Raw averaged 3.635 million viewers. Hour two drew 3.213 million viewers. The final hour of the show averaged 3.214 million viewers. The good news is that the four-way main event did not lead to a big drop in the third hour. The bad news is that the big drop occurred after the first hour instead. We hope to have the actual rating later today.

WWE Raw rating for the October 26, night after Hell in a Cell edition

Monday's WWE Raw scored a 2.46 rating, up from the 2.21 rating the show drew last week. Raw averaged 3.354 million viewers, down from the 3.356 million average from last week.

Powell's POV: The NFL game between the Cardinals and Ravens drew 12.204 million viewers, and there was no MLB game last night. The increased rating looks nice, but the viewership is basically the same as last week. The October 27, 2014 edition of Raw delivered a 2.71 rating with 3.745 million viewers.

It'll be like this till Mania season when the NFL is done for the year too.

Then they got convenient reason to make it Reign on a bytch and act like he drawing viewers back :sas2:
