Reigns will most likely be a 4x world champion by the end of the year, and most likely walk of WM33 with the belt around his waist; so potentially he could have 5 world championship reigns in just over 15 months.

I know it's a fake title and all that but that shyt is why we don't care about anything or anyone these days

Also they apparently knew about the suspension before MITB, which is why they took the title of him in a relatively clean loss

It's too early to say any of that. His suspension was a giant blemish on WWE's PR. It may be a while before he gets a Superman push again. On the other hand, he could get the Orton treatment and just keep getting protected. We'll see when he gets back.

Raw doesn't fall nearly to the level expected on July 4th

While WWE set an all-time record low for Raw on Monday, the rating can't be viewed negatively given the number and the night.

The show averaged 2.66 million viewers, down only 14 percent from the near record low from the prior week. The past two times Raw has aired on July 4th (2011 and 2005), the ratings fell 23 percent and 41 percent respectively from the prior week.

Raw was far and away the most watched show on cable, since all the shows on cable that usually provide competition took the night off. It also beat the FOX network programming head-to-head. Only four other shows on cable hit 1.5 million viewers.

From the hourly breakdown, it appeared to be the most loyal/hardcore audience since there were no upswings or downswings from start-to-finish:

• 8 p.m. 2.66 million viewers
• 9 p.m. 2.67 million viewers
• 10 p.m. 2.64 million viewers

The show featured Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz, another John Cena/Club confrontation, and a 16-man elimination match to close the show.

WWE Raw rating for the July 4 edition – Pro Wrestling Dot Net

Monday’s WWE Raw scored a 1.87 rating, down from the 2.21 rating the show drew last week. Raw averaged 2.658 million viewers, down from the 3.093 million average from last week.

Powell’s POV: Lousy numbers due to the Independence Day holiday, but the viewership hit wasn’t as significant as I expected it to be. The July 6, 2015 edition of Raw delivered a 2.65 rating with 3.647 million viewers.

The only people who watch now are diehards. The casuals have well and truly gone, can't see it getting much lower than that ever; their fanbase is too big and people continue to watch.

People moan about Raw but they still watch, one of the WOAT Raw episodes on a 4th July and still pulls 2.6 milly, should be pulling 1 milly tops but smarks gonna watch shyt no matter what.

That 16 man match was a fukk you to wrestling fans everywhere was no need for that USA circle jerk and how you gonna put Zayn and Cesaro out there and make them look like complete jabronis. Could've been worthwhile if USA team actually had some starpower on it and they played up Cena/Styles Rollins/Ambrose having to work together instead I get the Big Slow lumbering around the ring attempting to wrestle and I got sorry ass Kane out here stinking up the joint getting protected by booking.

Yeah the moment I saw Kane,Slow,Henry and the Dudley Boyz on a team I felt like I flashed back to 2001 shyt was sad to watch. I can imagine someone who used to watch happening to see that and thinking damn those same midcard guys from 15 years ago are in the main event damn business must really be awful now.
