Alexis had a window where she was carrying the women’s side, at least on the mic. She was one of the first women in wwe I noticed solely because of how good she was as a talker.

Don’t know what the fukk happened over the last year tho.

The talent pool got deeper. She was average at best in the ring but her character work and mic work elevated her b/c at the time, the division wasn't quite set yet. Now, you have women who have as good, if not better character and mic work *and* they can go in the ring (ex. Ruby Riott) while at the same time, Alexa hasn't stepped her cookies up at all in regards to her ring work and is still playing the same character, hitting the same notes, and hasn't revamped or refreshed her character in any way. In short, everyone else caught up and what was standout at the time, is now *standard*.
