When I met my buddy today right when it happened he was like Kobe died in a helicopter crash and I dead ass said “Colby who?” Like obviously I knew he wasn’t immortal but I think as a kid when you see these absolute legends like him or MJ you just assume theyre going to live until 100 or whatever and pass in their sleep. It’s fukked me up way more than I thought it would or moreso than any usual celebrity death/OD/etc.
