Yeah itoje was having a helluva game up until that boneheaded play. Underhill with the yellow didn’t help either…England played a shyt lineup and paid the price. Fair play to the Italians though played with a lot of heart. FRance just straight up got disciplined.

Line up was a disrespect to Italy and it backfired. Team was ass. He didn't start the tournament with Lawrence at centre, he hasn't utilised Marcus Smith enough, and his forwards have been ass. They aren't progressing.

While Borthwick is absolutely useless i have no issue with the line up. Considering the Main/Stars XV got bullied and beaten comprehensively vs Scotland and Ireland something had to change. Why are you going to reward many of those players for failure and below par performances from the previous 2 matches?

The RFU wanted their own Southgate they got their own Southgate and he performed like Southgate being unimaginative and uninspiring when the team needed it most. The likes of Marcus Smith will continue to be mismanaged because the RFU lack any vision themselves in their processes and hires. Yeah farrell and ford definitely have no business in the squad but neither does Daly or Atkinson. It beggars belief that an analytics guy doesn’t know the teams identity.
