The Syrian Civil war is a complex conflict that isn't black and white. On the rebel side there is jihadist groups like Jaish al Fateh, Ahrar al Sham, Jund al Aqsa, Jaish Fateh al Sham, etc. Are we willing to be the airforce for these rebel groups? Plus risk war with Russia over Syria is dumb as fukk. We have no dog in that fight. The best option is partition of Syria.

As if Assad would ever agree to partitioning, or stepping down from office. But you're right in general. Syria is a gigantic mess of geopolitical interests clashing.

Are we watching the same debate? He's mostly rambling and incoherent. He isn't even responding to many of the questions asked of him. He just name drops someone like Bernie Sanders and throws some baseless accusations at Clinton.

The accusations really aren't that baseless though. Leaving Iraq too soon did really create a vacuum that strengthened isis. Deleting 33,000 emails after getting subpoenaed is suspect af. Hillary really did call TPP the gold standard then pivoted and pretended she never said it when it became unpopular. I dislike Trump and think he lost the 1st but I can admit he is winning this debate so far atleast
