and someone like Ayo was a 2nd round pick, on the #1 team in the East with a loaded backcourt and he created a role for himself

Nate don’t really give rookies the green light much less a 2nd rounder, Okungwu was brought a long slowly last year too, but Jalen Johnson will prolly be the one getting PT later in the season Shareef prolly a year or 2 away

Started during a game where Trae and some other guard was out, but contracted covid. Hasnt played since then with hawks (and Trae) being closer to full strength. I think he's looked like a really good G League player during that stretch, but from what I can tell he still gotta develop a counter for when a good defender just sags off and herds him into help D if he chooses to drive.

He's got a great finishing package, but shyt just doesn't matter anymore if you got a non-functioning J

Regardless of how you feel about em, prob says something with Cooper getting virtually no minutes in games where Trae is 100% and their backups being poo facilitators
