Ratings for the first episode were good

yes but hbo doesn't go off ratings per se. when they cancelled how to make it and hung they renewed Enlightened, which was the lowest rated out of all their cancellations.

plus veep doesn't do that great of numbers and it keeps getting renewed. not even a million people watch the premiere of that show the past few years

i like this show and hope it goes on but hbo has been so hit or miss (mostly miss) the past few years with their comedies. they just need to bring curb back

Finally got caught up with the 2nd ep...like the show, can relate quite a bit from past companies.

I believe the show will last simply because of timing. We're essentially in a .COM 2.0 era with start ups becoming prevalent and major corporations throwing obscene amounts of money at them simply because they fear missing out on something that "could" be good.
