Can you tell me how the Raptors can afford to gamble on a potential bust ?
Raps looking at picking around 9-11 depending on how the rest of the season ends up and of course the lottery. Raps also have a team on the cusp of contending and have solid bigs but that is their area that can definitely be improved. After the top 7 or so picks there aren't many prospects that have star potential. Skal can be groomed to develop and be an impact player in a few years and maybe reach his potential.

If he is a bust, it's no big deal to the Raptors because they only gave up Bargnani for the pick and they are a good team regardless. Its not like the franchise would be riding on his success.

I think they have a 2 year window with this team to try and win, they need players that can help them now...a project to go along side Caboclo sounds nice in theory but they are trying to win right now,so that pick being able to help immediately or being used as a trade chip to upgrade the 4 or 5 this summer is huge...

My Pops Forever RIP
He sucks too
i didn't think he'd be this pathetic on the boards.i could tolerate his offense being raw but he shouldn't leave Kentucky.

If the excuse for Skal and players like him is "well he should leave because the money's there and he could get hurt" then I shouldn't waste my time as a GM because all that means is that he'd get worse if he stays

This sounds like a potential Brice Johnson destination if he has good workouts.

Impossible to say until he plays is what i was told :youngsabo:

Yet all of the physical tools are there....It'd be a shame and tbh a black mark on Brasil if 6 foot 9 brasilians with 7'7'' wing spans cannot compete at this level...Might as well close down the academies and focus on football...

Outside of half of Blake Griffin wouldn't this dude be like one of the only known Haitian players. What an embarrassment for their people this ninja here.

He doesn't play because he's not fukking with the Greek :mjpls:

No need to close up shop, Brazil is still in it's infancy of sending NBA players out, just a shame your self absorbed cultured claimed such a young and impressionable mind.

Am I missing something I was reading on another site and people consider Bruno Cabolobo as an untouchable why?

I think the team is gonna wait him out and see where he is in a few years but hes not untouchable...Hes not ready for the NBA but they are enamored with his wing span...Problems with him are he gets very lost even in D league games on the defensive side and the NBA is still too fast for him...

If Skal wasn't physically and mentally ready for college basketball, I don't know what he will do in the NBA. with that being said, next year Wenyen Gabriel, Edrice Adebayo, and Killeya-Jones will be coming to UK and will compete for the 4-5 spots. If Skal was playing for another school, staying would've been the best option.

I could see taking him with a 20th + pick I don't see why I'd take him with a lotto or teen pick...
