I just finished a two day trip to Vail, Colorado. There wasn’t much powder, just slushy, icy terrain.
I pretty much learned how to snowboard at Big Bear & Mammoth, CA, which have wide open runs with not many trees.
Vail is made up of a bunch of ridiculous black diamonds, flat wooded trails and narrow catwalks that go from one region to another. I’m not used to that type of snowboarding. It humbled me quickly and because there wasn’t any powder…each fall felt like I was hitting pavement. I feel like Martin after that boxing match.
Anyone else ski or snowboard? Anyone going to Black Ski week in February?
