Listened to a few clips on YouTube from 1st and 10 and then early first take shows from around 2007 and while it's only few minute clips Skip doesn't sound anything like the schtick machine he turned into.

For people who listened since the beginning when did Skip take on this character? Was it when sas became a permanent co host?

I don't know. I've been watching it since 1st and 10 and Cold Pizza ect and I guess he just evolved as time went on and his ego got bigger. I mean I swear I thought Skip would never leave ESPN, especially for a smaller platform over a couple M's.

I don't watch much of those ESPN shows honestly but I could never watch more than 5 minutes of First Take and that's basically off of what someone on the Coli said. Besides Jalen Rose sonning Skip I liked that time with Screamin A went off at the end of the show after that NOW president came out and asked for Roger Goodell to resign over the Ray Rice case you can tell Skip and the broad were thinking cut this shyt to commercial before this nikka get fired.


Highly Questionable is cool PTI used to be cool back in day but I can't fukk with Wilbon anymore after that Sean Taylor shyt.

I will give Skip this, he seems to be genuinely die-hard about basketball and football. Dude will tweet about games going til midnight-1:00 AM on the east coast when he probably has to get up at 5:00 - 6:00 AM the next day.

I agree, but I don't think most of these guys do. Hell, Kornheiser has admitted for years he goes to bed at like 8:00 - 9:00 and he still gets paid to talk about these games.

I used to watch back in the 1st and 10 days. Skip has always been a bytch but his obsession with LeBron pushed him over the top, IMO.
