I wasn’t surprised Cortez was able to rebuttal. I think more battlers can do it then you’d think. I think the issue is having the confidence, particularly on a large stage. I’m just not sure if he would have done that on a SM/Nome with so many people.

I don't think JJDD is as bad as people make him out to be. He's a pretty good battler and almost never loses. He's just kinda boring to me but that's it. I think I don't like his voice either.

He's like Serius Jones to me in a way.

It's a risk, even in this battle with red, cort had a fire rebuttal the macadoo bar, landed, but then he had a rebuttal to start the 3rd that didn't land at all. I guess it's a art to rebuttals and knowing when to try it and when not to.

All of the rounds felt short to me. I admit it. Still TODD ain't clearly take a thing imo. The narrative will be that he lost due to expectations imo.

Exactly. It's more confidence. It's really not even that hard. If it doesn't hit, it could get your round off to a bad start though.
