Or he's just trying to protect her. He knows Reed is a savage. They rest of them still don't comprehend. Which goes back to my point-- yes it's in Franklin's best interest to continue working with Louie and Jerome. But that has nothing to do with him being wrong and Louie being right. They're being unreasonable. And like always, Franklin is the only one capable of seeing the forest for the trees. You really think Louie and Jerome would fare any better if they had to work with a REAL plug and not their nephew they helped raise?

LOL, Louie and Jerome know breh is a savage, they know he's CIA and what he's capable of, they know about a missing Alton and the other plug he just killed. Louie and Jerome aren't safe in either case, Frank don't cut his price, they can't move the weight they need to, Reed kills all three. They work directly with Reed cutting Frank out (which means Reed would kill Frank), if they fail, Reed kills them too. Frank doesn't offer protection in any scenario where they fail plus he's also threatening them. Your stanning for Frank is really blinding you to how little leverage he has in the game right now, his only saving grace is that Louie can't get directly to Reed, that's not about protecting her, it's 100% about what he just said - making sure nothing comes between him and his goal (word to dead Rob).

I thought it was a great episode, a couple of my own observations/theories:

Towards the end of the episode when Louie put her feet up on the table had a lot of symbolism to me, she really wants to FULLY be the queen fukk a "50/50", Also after Franklins rant when Jerome nodded at Louie made me think about this:

That krazy cokehead cop continues to ask for a drug bust, could Louie snitch on franklin, and become the point woman for Reed and would Reed allow it?
Either way I think Louie and/or Jerome will end up dead by seasons end because of Louie's stand against frank.

I don't know where they are going with the Alton story line but I dont believe he's dead. I also don't understand why they are making Reed a antagonist to frank so far this season. It has to be more to it and may be a twist.

Reed wouldn’t work with Louie and its too early into the season for Louie to snitch on Franklin and even if she did she knows he’s protected by the CIA so not only would she basically be putting herself at risk to be killed there would literally be NOTHING to gain.

The progression Franklin has made the past five seasons. Killing his neighbor, becoming a ruthless drug dealer, killing his white homeboy, etc.

The difference between these performances and how his character arc is going so far is impressive. Idk his name yet, but dude is looking like a sleeper earning his stripes. Someone to remember for the future for sure.

Franklin's new girl looks more like his mother than his girl


One of the worst casting decisions I've seen. Also you can't just drop a character like that in with zero build up. This character we've never seen before knows everything that's going on with Franklin, knows about Teddy, is attending meetings. Meanwhile we had to watch every other character in the show get to that point. Makes no sense for Franklin to trust a woman so soon after being back stabbed by his previous two girls. You can't make Franklin this ultra smart ruthless boss but then dumb at the same time.

Plus the logistics needed for a church girl in Odessa, TX to link up with a high level drug trafficker…no, no I don’t think this will happen.

Yep They got skully for protection against Reed/Franklin if it came down to it.

Reed is CIA. There's no protection from him.

Ultimately in the end he will win.

If he doesn't and Franklin kills him, the show jumps the shark.

Ehh...you forget Louie and Jerome were considering leaving the game last season after she got shot. Frank talked them back into it. If they were dealing with Reed then (without Frank) and told Reed that, he would have killed them then and there. They not built like that to be dealing with Reed directly.

I know DeRay had to be when he got the scripts for this season.

Damson Idris is really good at ratcheting up the intensity when speaking and his posture always seems to be in character .
