Franklin wasn’t really a fukk up as much as he put business before everything. A lot of the events were out of his control aside from shyt like getting involved in Skully/Manboy beef. Ultimately I don’t think he should’ve quit on Teddy but hindsight is 50/50 and he felt like Louie/Teddy cut him out anyways.
I personally think his biggest fukk up was letting Louie/Cissy get too close. He should’ve put some distance between the business and his family.
When Franklin called Teddy about taking his money, and said if you don't give it back in 24 hours I will dedicate every hour to making you and your people suffer, he meant that sh*t and he stood on it. Gotta respect that.

Just completed a full re-watch of Snowfall.
Man they did they thing with this show. That ending is still heartbreaking. Those last 10 minutes with Franklin and Leon is something else. That scene alone should've locked up the Emmy for Damson. This show had the best soundtrack of any TV show ever. I hope the rumored spin off is actually gonna happen I want more of everybody. Even uncle Jerome in some flashback scenes. Breaking Bad is my favorite show of all time but Snowfall is right there.

Damson really did his thing in this. Franklin Saint was more charismatic than Walter White. Hard trick to pull off.

Season 5 is such a stain on the show, but what a good series
The scene Franklin finds out he lost his money and loses his shyt is my favorite scene. Great acting throughout

I don't share everyone's disdain for season 5. I mean yeah the tiger shyt was wild. But I found the LSD episode hilarious. Especially when he just takes off running. Or just seeing shyt, if you've ever done any psychedelics you swear you seeing shyt and wonder if anyone else did.

It just felt like filler outside of 2 episodes. You can tell they knew they were ending it season 6, so they bullshytted S5 because they couldnt move the plot too fast or they wouldnt have enough story to tell S6.
If they didnt bullshyt Franklin getting shot and the gang war happening off screen they couldve had enough story. Im still annoyed as hell how they did the gang war shyt.
