Nah you not wrong they been cutting corners this season even if you notice the music is 80% stock 80s music vs the first 3 seasons.

Its funny because everyones story at least the main characters are in this position because of greed and nothing else. Jerome wanted to have his sound shop and ride into the sunset but Louie wanted to be a big wig because of her getting abused by her old Madame.

Breh, I'm mad that Unc was the only one on the show with a jheri curl. There's zero chance that Franklin, Louie, Leon, Deon, Skully, & Cissy wouldn't all be walking around smelling like curl activator. Also, Jerome's curl wouldn't always be so dry. A true playa would've kept his hair moisturized at all times, word to Stoney Jackson.
